Juan Foyth scored for Tottenham Hotspur against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Juan Foyth had a Premier League debut to forget last weekend, as the Argentine defender gave away two penalties during Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at the Molineux Stadium.
Foyth showed his inexperience against Wolves, but on Saturday evening, the 20-year-old became a hero for Tottenham.
Not only was the former Estudiantes star solid at the back, but the Argentina Under-20 international centre-back also scored the only goal in the London derby against Crystal Palace.
The defender found the target midway through the second half to help Tottenham to a 1-0 win against Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in the Premier League.
According to WhoScored, Foyth had a pass accuracy of 86.1%, won one header, took 101 touches, and made three interceptions and five clearances.
The win against Palace means that Spurs are now fourth in the Premier League table with 27 points from 12 matches, five points behind leaders Manchester City.
