There is a buzz of excitement emanating from the Hammers fans once again, after back-to-back wins in the Premier League, and a new-found sense of togetherness amongst both players and fans, allowing Dimitri Payet’s transfer request.
And now there is genuine optimism at the club that they can make a strong push for the final Europa League spot.
Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass is a key target for West Ham
Slaven Bilic’s transfer business is quite clearly not yet finished, with the likes of Robert Snodgrass (the Guardian) and Scott Hogan (Sky Sports) being heavily linked with moves to East London.
If the Croatian manages to bring in one or two more top quality signings, along with finally getting rid of Payet, the Hammers have every chance of matching last season’s seventh placed finish.
And with Fonte already on board, the feel-good factor is slowly returning to the West Ham setup.
