The Magpies went into the game having lost to Burnley, Bournemouth and Manchester United, meaning Rafael Benitez was hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat.

However, Newcastle were run ragged by the Hornets, with Will Hughes sweeping them into a first-half lead from Marvin Zeegelaar’s cross.
Zeegelaar picked up another first half assist when his cross was turned into his own net by DeAndre Yedlin, and Andre Gray sealed a 3-0 win after the break, converting Richarlison’s cross.
With four defeats in a row, the shine is coming off Newcastle’s decent start to the season, and manager Benitez will be desperate for a fightback against West Brom on Tuesday night.

Almost every Newcastle fan will be frustrated right now, and the same goes for the players as Ciaran Clark was seen hammering the ball away in frustration after a Watford goal on Saturday.
