Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers eased into the next round of the Scottish Cup on Wednesday.

Joe Dodoo made his first Rangers appearance since May of last year with a cameo in Wednesday night’s 3-0 Scottish Cup win away to Fraserburgh.

The 22-year-old earned a 20-minute cameo for what was his first game at Rangers this season, having endured a disappointing half-a-season loan spell with Charlton in League One until last month.

And the former Leicester City man looked relatively lively, drawing the tackle which led to Graham Johnston’s red card on 85 minutes, but failed to get on the scoresheet.

The Gers’ star striker Alfredo Morelos was named on the bench amid speculation about an £8 million move to China which never materialised.

And the 21-year-old Colombian hitman was photographed cutting a rather lonesome figure on the bench at one point.
