As such, the injury-prone Arsenal pair were in action against Swansea City Under-21s in a bid to get back to full fitness on Thursday afternoon.
There has been much talk of Wilshere traveling to the Euros with England and Roy Hodgson remains a huge fan of the 24-year-old.
Based on form and perhaps even ability now, there is little evidence to suggest the Gunners midfielder deserves a spot in France. But he now has a few weeks to prove his critics wrong…
