Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil made his home debut for Arsenal helping them to a 3-1 win over Stoke.
Mesut Ozil had a home debut he won’t forget, describing the atmosphere at Arsenal’s Emirates ground as ‘incredible’.
The German provided two goals for teammates Mertesacker and Sagna, as well as taking the early free-kick which Asmir Begovic could only palm into the path of Aaron Ramsey.
Dangerous throughout, Ozil completed 87 per cent of his passes against Stoke, with 23 of 52 of them made in the final third of the pitch.
What’s more, Ozil created an incredible seven chances for his teammates, four from open play.
