The French goalkeeper is expected to be good with the ball at his feet.
Tottenham Hotspur take on Arsenal in the North London derby this weekend. The lunchtime kick-off on Sunday will see Spurs trying to pick up a much-needed win against Arsenal – who themselves are in good run of form.
Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris applauds fans after the game
Spurs will be expecting to come under a lot of pressure in the game and no doubt goalkeeper Hugo Lloris must be at his sharpest.
The French international will also be expected to be good with the ball at his feet, as per usual for this Spurs team.
It certainly seems that Mauricio Pochettino gives him the chance to practice his footwork in training. Spurs have been in training this week for the game and pictures from their session yesterday appeared to show Lloris involved in some of the outfield drills – much to the captain’s obvious pleasure.
Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris makes a save
Spurs like to build up from the back but know that Arsenal will be putting pressure on them from the start this weekend and Lloris will need to be at his best with the ball at his feet.
No doubt Tottenham boss Pochettino will hope training helps him out come Sunday.
