Liverpool’s Jose Enrique and Steven Caulker have not played since January.
Liverpool duo Steven Caulker and Jose Enrique were in training with the rest of the first team as the Reds prepared for their weekend clash with Tottenham.
Caulker was a surprise January signing, arriving on loan in the midst of an injury crisis.
The former Tottenham defender has though remained a peripheral figure since joining, failing to start a single Premier League game.
He has made three appearances from the bench, each very brief, and has not played at all since an FA Cup match against West Ham back in January, in which to his credit, the team kept a clean sheet.
Another forgotten figure is Spanish defender Jose Enrique. The 30-year-old has not played at all in the Premier League this season, but remains a popular member of the first team squad with his teammates.
He was pictured sharing a laugh yesterday with star striker and England international Daniel Sturridge.
