Tottenham Hotspur beat Everton 6-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur racked up another win on Sunday afternoon as they hammered Everton 6-2 at Goodison Park to continue their fine recent form.
Spurs went into the game having won three Premier League games in a row, and were looking to add another against Marco Silva’s Everton, who have shown promise this season..
Spurs didn’t exactly make the best start as ex-Arsenal winger Theo Walcott opened the scoring for Everton, but Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Harry Kane all found the net before the break to make it 3-1.
Christian Eriksen added a fine fourth from the edge of the box, and whilst Gylfi Sigurdsson pulled one back for Everton, Son and Kane both found the net again to seal a 6-2 victory.
There won’t be many better away performances at Goodison Park this season, and Spurs players will have been in celebratory mood with such a great performance just before Christmas.
After the game though, Spurs defender Davinson Sanchez still took the time to reunite with Everton’s Yerry Mina given that the pair play for Colombia together and featured alongside each other at the World Cup over the summer.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino then came over to speak to and hug both players, congratulating Sanchez but also taking the time with Mina, a player Tottenham were interested in over the summer according to The Sun.
