Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind and Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez were on target in the Netherlands’ friendly international against Mexico on Wednesday.
Manchester United-owned striker Javier Hernandez has been in good form so far this season, and he continued that on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old was on target for Mexico against the Netherlands in a friendly international at the Amsterdam ArenA in Amsterdam.
Hernandez, who joined Real Madrid on a season-long loan deal from United in the summer transfer window, scored in the 69th minute of the match.
It proved to be the winning goal as it made it 3-2 to Mexico, and the Netherlands failed to stage a comeback.
The star of the show for Mexico was a certain Carlos Vela, though. The former Arsenal attacker scored twice in Amsterdam.
Also among the goals at the Amsterdam ArenA was Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind. The 24-year-old scored in the 74th minute, while Wesley Sneijder netted four minutes into the second half.
