Charly Musonda has returned to Chelsea after struggling at Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic.

Much was expected of Charly Musonda when he arrived at Celtic on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window, but the youngster failed to make any impact at Celtic Park.
Signed on an 18-month loan deal, the 21-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has already returned to his parent club Chelsea after making only a handful of appearances for Brendan Rodgers’s side.

The Belgium Under-21 international was able to make just eight appearances for Celtic during the 2017-18 campaign, as reported by The Scottish Sun.
Musonda is now in the USA – at Los Angeles Galaxy to be specific, as he posted a number of photos on his Instagram account.
According to The Scottish Sun, Chelsea and Musonda will consider his options for his next loan move.

With competition for places in the Chelsea first team very fierce, the Belgian youngster – who earns £10,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com – will have to go out on loan, although it is unlikely that he will move to LA Galaxy in the summer transfer window, as he is good enough to find a club in the Premier League or in the Championship in England.
