Celtic went down 1-0 to Kilmarnock on Saturday afternoon.
Eboue Kouassi made only his second Premiership start for Celtic since October in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Kilmarnock – but it didn’t go well.
The January signing from 2017 came into midfield alongside Scott Brown and Olivier Ntcham but the Ivorian did very little to justify his inclusion with a lukewarm display.
That being said, Kouassi was no more ineffective than Brown or Ntcham on a day when Celtic simply didn’t turn up.
Youssuf Mulumbu struck a winner on 70 minutes to instigate the Hoops’ second domestic defeat under manager Brendan Rodgers, who took the job in May 2016.
Rodgers proved his class at full time by shaking the hand of the man who inflicted the damage on a wayward Celtic.
Below are some pictures from the disappointing defeat.
