Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski showed his anger towards referee Michael Salisbury following the 2-1 home defeat to West Ham United.

Tottenham have now made it five games without a win having been beaten by London rivals West Ham United.

Spurs snapped a three-game losing run by drawing 3-3 at Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

Ange Postecoglou’s men looked to be on course for a win against West Ham thanks to Cristian Romero’s first-half goal.

It all went wrong for Spurs after the break though as Jarrod Bowen and James Ward-Prowse won it for the Hammers, profiting from some slack Tottenham defending.

Dejan Kulusevski ‘lost his rag’ after Tottenham Hotspur defeat

Tottenham fans shouldn’t be too worried about Postecoglou but will be keen to see this frustrating run end sooner rather than later.

It was all too much for one Spurs player at the full-time whistle as Dejan Kulusevski showed his anger.

Images captured Kulusevski being held back by Pape Matar Sarr and Richarlison as he attempted to vent his fury at referee Michael Salisbury.

beIN Sports highlighted that Richarlison dragged Kulusevski away and The Mirror’s Ryan Taylor noted that Kulusevski ‘lost his rag’ and was ‘absolutely furious’ as he had to be held back.

Postecoglou got involved at one point, attempting to calm down Kulusevski and usher him away.

It’s unclear exactly why Kulusevski was so angry but he appeared to catch an elbow from West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta late in the game.

Tottenham were chasing a leveller at that stage and not only did Kulusevski not receive a free kick, but the decision actually went West Ham’s way.

The Swede didn’t have his best night in a Spurs shirt, failing to really impact the game – particularly in the second half.

Kulusevski’s frustration boiled over but this kind of anger towards officials is never great to see and we can imagine that he will regret his actions come Friday morning.
