The Hammers are in the USA at the moment, and the players are doing the hard work under the watchful eyes of manager Slaven Bilic.
One of the players who has reported for pre-season duty already is Havard Nordtveit.

The Norway international defensive midfielder joined West Ham on a free transfer this summer after leaving Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 26-year-old is a very good player, and he is expected to enhance the quality of the Hammers’ midfield.

The former Arsenal prospect trained with his new West Ham teammates on Sunday (see photos below).
During the training session on Sunday, West Ham manager Bilic showed off his ball skills (see photo below).

Nordtveit scored four goals and created nine chances in 31 Bundesliga appearances for Monchengladbach during the 2015-16 campaign.
The defensive midfielder had a pass accuracy of 82% and a shot accuracy of 47%, and won 85 headers, nine dribbles and 25 tackles.
