So the club were working hard in training today, including the appearance of a player who has not featured for Arsenal in some time.
Jack Wilshere is the obvious name that springs to mind but he is fit, featuring against Leicester last week.
Carl Jenkinson on the other hand has not played for Arsenal in an age.
The last time the right-back played for Arsenal was in May 2014. He scored in that game, a 2-0 win against Norwich City.
He was then loaned out to West Ham United for the 2014-15 season, and again last term. Unfortunately, he picked up a cruciate knee ligament injury in January but it appears that he is now getting back into training.
