Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace 1-0 on Sunday.
Dele Alli found himself at the centre of yet another diving storm for Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Harry Kane snatched an 88th-minute winner as Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park, but many of the post-match headlines centered around Kane’s team-mate Alli.
The 21-year-old midfielder is perceived to have simulated contact on two occasions yesterday afternoon – once from Patrick van Aanholt, who was furious, and another from Wayne Hennessey.
And photos of the latter incident do little to help Alli’s cause, in which the Spurs star is clearly going to ground before contact with the Welsh goalkeeper.
In scoring the winner, Kane bagged his 35th goal of the season in all competitions, equalling his previous best total in a single campaign.
And the 24-year-old sensation looked to catch up with former Tottenham team-mate Andros Townsend at full time.
