West Ham United’s Andre Ayew receives medical attention before going off injured
West Ham United have been hard at work this week ahead of their clash with Sunderland this weekend.
The Hammers will be looking to build on their 1-0 triumph against Crystal Palace in the Premier League last weekend against the struggling Black Cats.

This week they were also served an excellent piece of injury news. Ghanaian international striker Andre Ayew, a transfer target for Sunderland in January, is back fit after suffering a thigh injury on the opening day of the season against Chelsea.
But he is back in action.
He has been training with the club this week and Slaven Bilic confirmed earlier that he is closing in on his return to first-team action for the club.
Sunderland may come too soon for the forward – but it appears he is firmly on the mend judging by pictures from West Ham training today.
West Ham’s players seemed to be in good spirits during their session, with Mark Noble appearing to pray to a divine looking Dimitri Payet a definite highlight.

Meanwhile Marcus Browne, the 18-year-old midfielder who is impressing the West Ham first-team staff, hitched a ride on the back of his team-mate Ashley Fletcher.
West Ham will hope a positive week of training can inspire them to a win this weekend.
