Liverpool are in Premier League action this weekend.
The Liverpool players were training on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s match against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Liverpool will take on Tottenham away from home at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will head into the game in North London on the back of a 5-0 victory over Burton Albion away from home at the Pirelli Stadium in the second round of the EFL Cup.
The Liverpool players were training hard on Thursday, and among those attended the session was defender Alberto Moreno (see photos above and below).
Moreno is an important player for Liverpool, but the left-back’s performances so far this season have been less than impressive.
The 24-year-old Spain international’s display against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on the opening weekend of the Premier League season was erratic, and he did not start the league match against Burnley at Turf Moor.
The former Sevilla left-back has come under criticism, but the Spaniard seems to be carrying on as normal in training.
As the photos above and below suggest, Moreno is working hard in training and seems to be enjoying himself.
The Spain international probably knows that his displays have been disappointing so far this campaign, and Liverpool fans will hope that he gets better as the season progresses.
