West Bromwich Albion suffered a 3-2 defeat to Chelsea at home in the Premier League on Sunday.
West Bromwich Albion’s disappointing start to the 2015-16 campaign continued on Sunday, as they went down 3-2 to Chelsea at home in the Premier League.
The Baggies headed into the encounter at The Hawthorns on the back of a goalless draw with Watford at Vicarage Road.
Prior to that match, Tony Pulis’s side had gone down 3-0 to Premier League title challengers Manchester City 3-0 at home.
Chelsea were favourites against West Brom on Sunday, but the home team did give Jose Mourinho’s side a run for their money.
The Blues eventually picked up the three points, but not before suffering a scare after defender John Terry was sent off.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, West Brom had 44% of the possession, took 15 shots of which six were on target and earned eight corners.
Among the 23,256 spectators at The Hawthorns was well-known TV presenter Adrian Chiles, who is a West Brom fan (see photo above).
