An assortment of young players were among those included in Jose Mourinho’s latest training session at Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham are back in action on Friday as Mourinho’s side gear up for a tricky visit to Everton, fresh from a 3-1 defeat by Manchester United that rocked their top-four hopes this past weekend.
The usual suspects – Harry Kane, Tanguy Ndombele, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Carlos Vinicius etc – all trained ahead of the trip to Merseyside.
But there were some surprising faces too and one of them was Kion Etete.
The 19-year-old hitman has been in fine form for the Under-23s this season and he was among the teenagers spotted at the training ground on Wednesday.
In a couple of photos, you get a real sense of just how big Etete is.
According to The Sun, the youngster is a massive 6’6 and he looked every inch the powerhouse that his physical dimensions suggest.

Of course, Etete won’t be playing at Goodison Park in a couple of days.
In fact, it’ll probably be a while before he’s ready to break into Mourinho’s senior side, having had very little experience of senior football in his burgeoning career and a loan move away is almost certainly needed to prepare him for the rigours of the top level.
