Mikel Arteta put his Arsenal side through their paces at London Colney on Friday afternoon.

The Gunners are gearing up for a trip to Burnley today in what represents a good chance for Arteta’s side to maintain their strong run of form.

One player to watch is Martin Odegaard, who joined Arsenal on a half-season loan from Real Madrid in January.

The Norwegian gem is slowly but surely finding his feet at the club and some training-ground images of him sharing a joke with Bukayo Saka can only mean good things for the 22-year-old.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Arteta starts Thomas Partey in midfield.

Arsenal have a huge Europa League clash with Olympiacos next week but, by the same token, the Spanish boss will want Partey at 100 percent – and the truth is he hasn’t played much football recently after only returning from injury.

The Ghanaian powerhouse was present during Arteta’s session yesterday, where he looked slightly less formidable than usual when standing beside £27 million towering centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes, who comes in at 6’3.

With this being an early kickoff, Arsenal would move into the top half of the Premier League table with a victory, potentially going ninth.
