The American teenager has not been on the bench in the Premier League since 2014.
Arsenal take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this afternoon and will be hoping to continue their good form in the game.
With that in mind Arsenal have been hard at work in training this week and will be hoping to get the win.
Arsenal’s Gedion Zelalem during the warm up
There was however one slightly unfamiliar face heavily involved in the Arsenal first-team train session.
Gedion Zelalem was getting very stuck into the session.
The 19-year-old USA youth international is a hot prospect at Arsenal and has been compared to Cesc Fabregas in the past.
The teenager, who spent last season on loan at Scottish giants Rangers, will undoubtedly be looking to make a push into the Arsenal first-team in the years to come.

He has played just four times for Arsenal, including two performances in the EFL Cup this season, but has so far never featured for the club in the Premier League.
Zelalem has been on the bench for Arsenal on three occasions in the league, including for a 1-0 North London derby win back in September 2013 – but he has not been on the bench in the league since February 2014.
He will no doubt be hoping to be on the bench again later today.
