Ben Woodburn was among the Liverpool players spotted at the Axa Training Centre on Friday as Jurgen Klopp put his side through their paces before tomorrow’s visit of Newcastle United.
The Wales international hasn’t made a senior competitive appearance under the Liverpool boss since way back in 2018 and has endured quite a few underwhelming loan spells away from Merseyside.
But he was a notable figure during Klopp’s session before the clash against Steve Bruce’s side tomorrow.
Here’s some snaps of the 21-year-old winger:

Despite Woodburn’s struggles in recent years, he still has more games for Liverpool than Ben Davies.
Klopp and Michael Edwards signed the English centre-back from Preston North End in January due to an injury crisis of defensive options.
But fast forward almost four months and the 25-year-old still hasn’t made a debut for Liverpool, though his presence on the bench against Real Madrid last week at least indicates some faith from Klopp.
Davies was also included in Thursday’s session and he may return to the bench against the Magpies.
