The Aston Villa owners were present to witness history at Villa Park today.

Aston Villa created history this afternoon – and one of the club’s co-owners was there to witness it.
Dean Smith’s side beat Millwall 1-0 at Villa Park today and, in doing so, made it 10 victories in a row.
The Villans have never enjoyed such a lengthy winning streak at any point in their 145-year history.
Aston Villa co-owner Wes Edens flew in from the United States to watch the victory in person for what was only his second-ever time watching his club. His only other competitive game was the 1-1 draw with Reading way back in August.
Jonathan Kodjia’s goal on the half-hour mark was enough to give Aston Villa their historic 10-game winning streak.
More importantly, the West Midlands outfit are now guaranteed a playoff spot after moving eight points clear of seventh-placed Middlesbrough with two games to go.
