Everton lost against Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Saturday.

Wayne Rooney has not been exactly great for Everton since his move from Manchester United in the summer of 2017.

Although Rooney has scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 20 Premier League starts for the Toffees so far this season, his performances have not been very consistent and could have been better overall.

The 32-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, featured for Everton against Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.

The former England international started against the Hornets at Vicarage Road and played for 82 minutes, as Sam Allardyce’s side lost 1-0 and are now seven points above the Premier League relegation zone.

Rooney was a little off the pace against Watford and struggled to keep hold of the ball, but the United legend did show his agility with an acrobatic effort, thereby showing that he is still capable of weaving magic and crafting something special, as shown in the photo below.
