The Leeds United summer signing certainly knows how to make a fashion statement.
When Leeds United signed Vurnon Anita following his release from Newcastle United it looked like the Whites bad bagged a bargain.
However, despite featuring regularly in the early weeks of the campaign, the Dutchman has fallen out of favour more recently and has not kicked a ball in anger in any of the club’s last five league matches.

Anita’s spell out of the team looks likely to continue, with Leeds well stocked in central midfield and with Gaetano Berardi making the left-back spot his own.
So in the mean time, Anita appears to be doing his best to get noticed off the field, after slipping out of contention on it.

The 28-year-old was photographed with some of his Leeds teammates on a night out earlier this month, and while goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell will not be allowed to forget the evening he rocked up in a tuxedo any time soon, Anita drew plenty of attention of his own.
In time Anita may get back into Thomas Christiansen’s starting XI, with the matches coming thick and fast over Christmas and New Year. But let’s hope he is more successful than when it comes to picking an outfit.
