Last week was a feel-good one for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side returned to Melwood for training for the first time since the Premier League season was suspended early in March due to the global health pandemic.

And a lot of Liverpool players were pictured smiling under the sunshine at Melwood in recent days following a long-awaited return to normality.

There was another feel-good factor too and that one came in the form of Paul Glatzel.

The Reds’ prospect suffered a serious knee injury in a pre-season friendly against Tranmere Rovers last July.

But 10 months on, Glatzel, who Klopp described as ‘unbelievable’ last summer, was pictured in light training on Sunday following the lengthy layoff.

The 19-year-old is a big, big talent and scored 28 goals for the Under-18 side during the 2018-19 campaign, hence why he was involved in the senior set-up last summer prior to the injury.
