Tottenham Hotspur knocked Borussia Dortmund out of the Champions League.

Tottenham managed to successfully blunt Jadon Sancho’s attacking impact over two legs against Borussia Dortmund.
While sharp in the first 45 minutes at Wembley, Sancho’s threat was well limited by Tottenham after.
Spurs star Eric Dier commiserated with him after Tottenham’s 1-0 win last night at the Westfalenstadion.
Dier and Sancho are England teammates, and share in common the fact they have really kicked off their careers abroad, away from the Premier League.
Dier made his name with Sporting Lisbon, before Spurs swooped to sign him in 2014.

Sancho left City to join Dortmund in 2017 and hasn’t looked back.
The Telegraph reported this week that Sancho is valued at £100 million by Dortmund amid interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
The winger is a top talent, but Spurs taught him a tough lesson over two legs, and may have stopped an astronomic price tag from going even higher.
