Tottenham Hotspur fans will be praying for injuries to be avoided when two of their top stars face off this week on international duty.
Davinson Sanchez’s Colombia take on Heung-Min Son’s South Korea on Friday morning in Suwon.
Sanchez posted an image of himself training ahead of the fixture.
Sanchez is a regular for Colombia and helped his country qualify for the World Cup last month from a very tough Conmebol qualifying section.
Fortunately this match is just a friendly and should be played at a less intense level than usual, which may reduce any risk of injuries.
Both Sanchez and Son may play less minutes with their managers potentially keen to experiment with fringe players as they fine tune ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
So long as the pair return unscathed ahead of the North London derby, Tottenham fans will not mind which of their players come out victorious.
