Tottenham Hotspur players returned to training on Wednesday as they gear up for the potential return of the Premier League.
Football has been suspended since March, with the global pandemic halting the season in its tracks. Two months on, it looks like games could return soon.
The Bundesliga’s return behind closed doors last weekend will give many hope that the Premier League can follow suit, with a June return being considered.
Players were able to come back to training on Wednesday ahead of the potential comeback, and Tottenham were in action at Hotspur Way.
Jose Mourinho will be trying to get his players ready for when football returns, and photos showed that teenager Troy Parrott was included in first-team training.
The striker has only appeared three times under Mourinho, with every appearance coming as a substitute. The Irishman has been backed for a huge future, but Mourinho has been patient so far.

With Harry Kane coming back from injury, Parrott may hope for more chances when football returns, and the 18-year-old was spotted in training on Wednesday. This at least shows that Mourinho thinks he deserves to be training with senior players right now.
Fans will hope that this points to more opportunities for Parrott, but it will all depend on whether Mourinho sees enough from him in these training sessions.
