The Tottenham Hotspur youngster will be hoping to get a chance in Europe this week.

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for their final Champions League group game against APOEL Nicosia on Wednesday evening and, with the match little more than a dead rubber, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino may give some of the club’s underused players the chance to shine.
There could also be opportunities for Tottenham’s next generation, and forward Kazaiah Sterling was involved in first-team training this week, which suggests he could be named in the match day squad rather than tasked with playing in the UEFA Youth League like many of his young teammates.
The 19-year-old is yet to play for the senior side but he has been in fine form for the under-18s, scoring two goals in two games against Borussia Dortmund and one against Real Madrid.

That form may have earned him a shot for the first-team this week and Tottenham fans will no doubt be hoping to see some more of their club’s much heralded youth talent.
Sterling was not expected to make the breakthrough before the likes of Shayon Harrison and Marcus Edwards, yet it now seems the 19-year-old could have jumped to the front of that particular queue.
While he is unlikely to start for Tottenham at Wembley, it would be nice to see him come on in the second half if things are going Spurs’ way against the Cypriot club.
