Tottenham Hotspur youngster Brandon Austin suffered a bad injury on Friday.

Tottenham Hotspur have their fair share of injury problems at the moment.
Harry Kane is out until March at the earliest with an ankle problem, Moussa Sissoko remains sidelined after originally being ruled out for a month, and Lucas Moura might also miss this afternoon’s trip to Fulham.
But those layoffs are pale in comparison to the one potentially facing young Tottenham goalkeeper Brandon Austin.
The 20-year-old was stretchered off in Spurs’ Under-23 clash with Norwich City on Friday, with the United States U18 ace requiring treatment that took 12 minutes.
According to a report on the North Londoners’ website, Austin ‘landed awkwardly’ in the final 10 minutes of Friday’s 2-2 draw.
And with all three substitutions made, Tottenham had to use Maxi Tainio – son of the Lilywhites’ former player Teemu – as a makeshift replacement, considering he’s a right-back.
Follow-up information on Austin’s condition is scarce, but the amount of time taken for treatment is a concern.
Tottenham’s former U-18 coach Scott Parker praised him last season.
