Tottenham’s new stadium is really taking shape.

Tottenham Hotspur’s multi-million agreement with the NFL is one step closer to reality.

The club have been testing out NFL equipment at their £800 million stadium, which will be used for American Football games as well as being Tottenham’s home.

The stadium is scheduled to open officially in September for Tottenham in the Premier League.

The first NFL game and only one in 2018 will take place a month later, with the Oakland Raiders facing the Seattle Seahawks on October 14.

The NFL pitch is artificial turf and is going to be levered in, separate to the pitch Tottenham will be using.

It is for this reason that testing on this is going ahead first.

Tottenham fans are still waiting to see ‘soccer’ goals installed in the ground, and this will be one of the next steps when they are tested.

Spurs have a lucrative 10 year deal with the NFL to host games as part of their popular international series.
