Tottenham goalkeeper began the club’s Champions League adventure this season.

Michel Vorm is in Madrid with his Tottenham Hotspur teammates as the club gear up for the Champions League final.
Vorm has slipped down to third choice this season, losing his place as Hugo Lloris’ deputy to Paulo Gazzaniga.
It seems remarkable to think back that Vorm started off Tottenham’s Champions League adventure, featuring in the San Siro in a 2-1 loss to Inter Milan.
The Dutchman did not cover himself in glory in that game, and the mid-September clash turned out to be the last of three starts he made this season for Spurs.

Vorm’s only appearance since was coming off the bench away at PSV Eindhoven in late October after Hugo Lloris had been sent off.
The 35-year-old is in Madrid as a precaution, should either Hugo Lloris or Paulo Gazzaniga fall ill or get injured in the run up to the final.
Vorm has been a good servant for Spurs as a back up since joining the club in 2014 from Swansea.
His contract is set to run out this summer and he will move on. Seeing his side lift the Champions League trophy would be an ideal way to say goodbye, and he would receive a medal for his early efforts too.
