Tottenham Hotspur striker meets up with former Juventus teammate.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente has not been much use since he signed for the North London club.
He scored just one league goal, with no assists. But could he be setting up Tottenham’s most important move of the summer? Wishful thinking perhaps…
Llorente yesterday sent a message to Claudio Marchisio, a former Juventus teammate of his.
Marchisio was released from his Juventus contract last week and is now the most coveted free agent in football.
Llorente shared an image of the pair together from their time at the Italian champions together, with the message: “Good luck my friend! It was great to play next to you, and I cheer for you and your new adventure.”
Marchisio is yet to decide on his next move, and Llorente’s message does not sound like he is trying to recruit the Italian, although he would be a useful addition to the side.
The 32-year-old has played 389 games for Juventus, spending his whole career there apart from one brief loan spell at Empoli.
He has won seven Serie A titles, one Serie B title and four Coppa Italia medals.
