Tottenham winger hopes for a steady, even spectacular season ahead.

Finally Tottenham winger Erik Lamela has some normality to his career.
He checked in at Hotspur Way yesterday along with the rest of the squad, and is relishing simply being part of the team.
It is a far cry from a year ago, when Lamela was a mystery, absent due to an ongoing hip injury.
Lamela missed 12 months of his career due to his hip injury, which was originally only supposed to cost him a couple of months.
He underwent surgery, and during his time out, was linked with a return to Italy.
Lamela only returned to action for the under-23 side last November, and subsequently worked his way back into the first team.
He ended the season making seven Premier League starts, and 18 appearances from the bench.
In sheer volume, this was a scenario Spurs would have taken last summer, when his status was a source of mystery and frustration all round.
He scored two goals and provided two assists, but now is the time to kick on.
The 26-year-old cost Spurs £25.8 million in 2013, and hasn’t really shown his best form on a consistent basis.
2018/19 could be different, and the important of him getting a ‘normal’ pre-season under his belt should not be under estimated.
