It was refreshing to see some Arsenal players with a smile back on their face today – including Thomas Partey.
The Gunners go to West Brom tomorrow in search of a three-match winning streak after beating Chelsea and Brighton over the past week.
Partey hasn’t played for Arsenal since the defeat by Spurs last month and has only managed a handful of Premier League appearances since his £45 million move from Atletico Madrid in October.
But the Ghanaian powerhouse was spotted in stitches at London Colney this afternoon, sharing jokes with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 27-year-old isn’t available to face West Brom tomorrow after Arsenal revealed on Thursday that he’d return to full training next week.
Elsewhere, Kieran Tierney continued his protest against the cold weather.
Throughout the winter, the Scottish left-back has refused to sport the hats and thermal gear that all of his Arsenal team-mates do during training.
And the former Celtic star even showed up head coach Mikel Arteta at Colney this afternoon, with the Spanish coach wrapping up tight to combat the January chill.
