Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil lasted just 45 minutes against Bayern.
Midway through the first half, Mesut Ozil looked bemused as he struggled to have any involvement in the game against Bayern.
Teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain embarrassed him with his tenacity, record signing Ozil simply a passenger.
He was substituted at 0-0 at half-time for Tomas Rosicky, with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger keen to change it up as he sought to overturn a first leg deficit.
Ozil has just 21 touches in the half, attempting only 12 passes, completing a paltry 58% of them. Defensively he also contributed no tackles and no interceptions.
ITV reported early in the first half that Ozil complained of a tight hamstring at half-time, which was the reason for his withdrawal.
