The Spaniard signed for Spurs on transfer deadline day and was making his third appearance for the club, but this was his first start.
Tottenham won the game 1-0 through a close range Dele Alli goal, avoiding any major embarrassment.
This was not a game Llorente will fondly recall, but it will have helped with his fitness.
