Leeds drew 1-1 with Ipswich Town in the Championship yesterday.

Leeds United managed to get away with a poor performance at the weekend, as they struggled to a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town at Portman Road. Stuart Dallas scored Leeds’ goal after Freddie Sears had earlier put the Tractor Boys in the lead.

Leeds have hit something of a rut in recent weeks. The midweek win against Bristol City was a welcome reprieve after a defeat to Cardiff City at Elland Road last weekend.

Yesterday’s game was similar in fashion and Garry Monk was not pleased he did not get all three points from the fixture.

From all the photos taken at the game perhaps the one that tells the story of the game more than any other is this one of Monk:

The Leeds boss looked perplexed and frustrated as Ipswich sat back and imposed their style on the Leeds United players.

Leeds are struggling to get wins in tough games like this and Monk is clearly struggling to figure out the best way to approach such teams.

Sheffield Wednesday are next in what should be a far more suitable game for Monk. But he will not want to be pulling this face much more this season.
