Celtic manager picks up another award on the same night Rangers situation descended into farce.

Thursday night was a pivotal one in Rangers’ managerial pursuit as they were forced to abandon their pursuit of Derek McInnes.
McInnes announced his intention to snub a move to Ibrox and move to Aberdeen, after six weeks of speculation.

It left Rangers back at square one, issuing a bizarre statemement which declared none of the managers who had applied for the job as good enough.
Meanwhile at Celtic…
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was busy picking up another award, for his tremendous achievements in Scottish football.
Rodgers has overseen a period of dominance at Celtic like never seen before, and still has not lost a league match.
Rodgers has seen off two Rangers managers, and there was a cruel irony in Rodgers being presented with another gong for his record as Celtic’s Old Firm rivals hit rock bottom.
Celtic’s manager is regarded as the best in the country, while Rangers can’t even get appointing one right.
