The Leeds centre-back looked dejected after Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.
Leeds United supporters would have felt very disappointed indeed after their side’s 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
After their recent form – and Steve Evans’ constant grandiose claims – Leeds fans would have wanted to start another unbeaten run.
They lost to Forest during a bland performance, however, and Giuseppe Bellusci’s look of dejection at the final whistle summed up just how supporters will feel.
Many are frustrated with United’s lack of late business – especially when it comes to signing a forward.
And many remain frustrated with Leeds’ standard of performances on the pitch. After their brilliant 45-minute showing against Bolton the FA Cup, the Whites regressed somewhat against Forest.
It’s important not to be too down – Leeds are still having a stable season and can push for a top-half finish with a few wins. But morale is certainly a little low at Elland Road right now.
