Arsenal have signed six players this summer.
There’s been a lot of fanfare over the Gunners’ arrivals, with Nuno Tavares, Ben White, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale all joining for a combined £130 million approximately.
But one player who hasn’t got many – if any – column inches since joining has been Mika Biereth.
Edu signed the former Fulham hitman on July 30 and the lack of talk about Biereth probably stems from the fact that he’s only 18.
But he’s a very promising player nonetheless and he impressed in an Under-23 clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Friday evening.

Future
Arsenal fans won’t see anything of Biereth in the senior side this season.
The youngster scored 21 goals for the Cottagers’ Under-18 side last season, which is a substantial enough total to make you think he might sneak a League Cup appearance at one point.
After all, Mikel Arteta used a lot of young players – including Folarin Balogun – in the League Cup and Europa League group stages last season.
But Arsenal have no European football of any description this time around and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s hat-trick against West Brom in the EFL Cup in midweek highlights Arteta’s intentions.
In short, the Spanish boss is going to be using his heavy hitters even in lesser competitions such as this, evident by the fact Aubameyang started.
Long term, though, people at London Colney clearly expect big things from Biereth and it’ll be interesting to see how he fares under Ryan Garry and Kevin Betsy this season.
