It was a disappointing day at the office for Leeds United on Saturday afternoon. The Whites were expected to win against Preston North End at Elland Road, but the game finished in a goalless draw.
The performance of Leeds against Preston left much to be desired, and the players must have been disappointed with the final result.
However, despite things not going their way, Stuart Dallas still found it in himself to sign autographs for the Leeds fans after the match, as the following post on the club’s official Twitter page shows.
The Northern Ireland international, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, did not start the game, but the 26-year-old came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute.
The fact that Dallas, who joined Leeds from Brentford in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £1.3 million, took time out to sign autographs for the fans after the game shows that he cares about them, and this should endear him to the Elland Road faithful even more.
Leeds will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Fulham at Elland Road in the Championship.
