Sandro has had an intriguing looking new facial hair cut and shared it on Instagram.
Earlier this week I was checking out a springtime summer playlist as the sun poked its head out from behind the clouds. One song that came on was the tune ‘Outside’ by George Michael.
The image of the controversial former Wham! Star swiftly popped into my head and I, just as swiftly, pressed skip to hear The Vaccines.
But it seems perhaps one other person heard that tune and was not so averse to its affects.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro is one of the most popular players among the Spurs fans currently at White Hart Lane.
And one reason why is his laid back and comedic demeanour – the other being his eccentric personality.
And now he has highlighted that eccentricity via the medium of his facial hair.
Sandro has been noted in the past for his beard – but this new look is certainly extreme.
It was then noted to me by one of my esteemed colleagues that it was very George Michael-esque. Whether that is a good thing or not remains highly, highly questionable…
