The Saints and the Rams contested 120 minutes of football plus penalties on Wednesday, which took its toll on the players.

Southampton and Derby County both gave a performance for the ages in Wednesday night’s FA Cup third-round replay.
After a first-half stalemate, the hosts looked set for victory at St Mary’s after quickfire goals from Stuart Armstrong and Nathan Redmond in the 68th and 70th minute.
However, the Rams – who had a Craig Bryson goal disallowed by VAR earlier on – halved the deficit when prolific Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson scored from a free kick on 76 minutes.
Martyn Waghorn then headed the equaliser for Frank Lampard’s side with eight minutes to go as both sides would see the game out all square, meaning extra time.
Both sets of players laboured for 120 minutes, which resulted in numerous bouts of cramp, and could not be separated come the final whistle, so penalties it was.
Redmond missed in the shootout for Southampton, allowing Rams captain Richard Keogh to strike the winning spot kick and secure a fourth-round tie away at Accrington Stanley.
Here are some of the standout pictures from the game on the south coast, which includes a great example of sportsmanship as fellow professionals helped each other out in overcoming cramp despite being on opposing sides:
