West Ham United are set to sell midfielder Pedro Obiang.

Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio has posted a photo of West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang arriving in Italy, ahead of completing his move to Sassuolo.
Obiang, 27, joined West Ham back in 2015 as the first signing of the Slaven Bilic era, with the London Evening Standard reporting that he cost just £4.3million.
Having impressed with Sampdoria, Obiang arrived with high expectations, but he’s been in and out of the side over the last four years.
The Spaniard started 12 games last season whilst making another 12 substitute appearances, failing to really establish himself under Manuel Pellegrini.
The Daily Mail noted over the weekend that Obiang was set for a medical with Sassuolo ahead of leaving West Ham for £7million, with the Hammers making a small profit.
Now, a photo has emerged of Obiang arriving in Italy ahead of finalising his move, meaning his exit and subsequent return to Serie A should be confirmed imminently.

Obiang should reinforce the Sassuolo midfield after Stefano Sensi’s move to Inter Milan, and the photo has emerged just hours after manager Pellegrini and captain Mark Noble had their say.
Both told Sky Sports on Tuesday that they expected Obiang to move on, and they were both proven right very quickly as the midfielder has landed to join Roberto De Zerbi’s side.
