Tottenham defender Serge Aurier went tumbling against PSV.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier needed a big performance against PSV with Kieran Trippier dropped.
Aurier was disappointing, lasting 75 minutes before being taken off for Trippier.
The right-back has barely figured for Spurs this season, a year after clinching a £24 million move from PSG.
His performance last night can be summed up in one comical image above in which he is seen taking a spectacular tumble after colliding with opponent Hirving Lozano.
It illustrates Aurier’s at time cavalier attitude which puts him in positions from where he is often found scrambling.
Last night his crossing let him down, and this is the area in which Trippier is undoubtedly stronger.

Aurier was the only Tottenham defender to complete fewer than 80 per cent of his passes, and just one of his seven crosses found it’s target.
On a night where he desperately needed to start building a case for himself, Aurier will reflect on it as a missed opportunity to demonstrate why he should be a starter.
Even with Trippier’s inconsistent form, Aurier may have to wait a while for his next chance.
