The Aston Villa goalkeeper has been in great form recently.

It is fair to say that Aston Villa goalkeeper Sam Johnstone took his time winning over the fans following his loan switch from Manchester United.
Coming into a team struggling for form and slipping perilously close to the Championship’s drop zone, the young stopper managed to help his side pick up just a single point in his first seven appearances; a record that soon had some Villa fans calling for him to be dropped.
However, things have since taken a turn for the better and on Saturday Johnstone kept his fourth clean sheet in his last five outings, helping Villa to a 2-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday in the process.
The Villa man showed his pleasure when Jonathan Kodjia found the net for the second time, sealing another vital three points for Steve Bruce’s side.
There is still plenty of football to be played and a lot more points to fight for, but Johnstone clearly cares about Villa and he is now putting in the performances to back that up.
