England face Denmark in the semi-finals on Wednesday night whilst Ukraine are sent packing.
Yaremchuk may have still impressed West Ham
The Express reported last month that West Ham were keen to sign Gent striker Roman Yaremchuk, who has been featuring for Ukraine at Euro 2020.
Yaremchuk, 25, scored against the Netherlands and North Macedonia and still caused problems for England last night, forcing Jordan Pickford into a smart save.
Believed to be worth around £17million, Yaremchuk smashed 23 goals for Gent last season and looks destined for a big move this summer, possibly to West Ham.
Yaremchuk battles with Rice
Yaremchuk starting against England meant he ended up battling with West Ham star Declan Rice, and one comical moment in the first half saw them scrapping and grappling inside the England penalty area.
The two crossed paths throughout the game, as seen in the photos here, and the pair could end up playing together for West Ham next season.
With Yaremchuk causing problems in front of Rice’s eyes, the midfielder could surely give his thoughts on the striker to David Moyes and co ahead of potentially joining forces having been at each other last night.
